CCD Projects feature on ‘Homes by the Sea’

October 19, 2015 /

We were excited to see two CCD projects feature on ‘Homes by the Sea’ on More4 on Tuesday (13.10.15) evening. The show, now in its second series, follows presenter Charlie Luxton as he travels around the UK visiting some of Britain’s best homes by the sea and finding out what makes the perfect coastal property. In this episode, Charlie explores the Channel Islands and visits some stunning properties, among which are CCD projects ‘The Mill’ and ‘Hautville House’.

On Catherine Best’s Mill we worked with a great client with vision and creativity in abundance (look out for ‘Cathy’s Sweet Shop’ !). The new rotating roof is now complete and finishes off the unique family home. Huge moving glass roofs & chunky exposed machinery reference the mechanised agricultural past.

Victor Hugo’s ‘Hautville House‘ is a permanent process of maintenance and conservation for CCD. Its one of the most unique and unusual buildings in the world and a jewel in Guernsey’s crown. Go and pay a visit!!

The episode aired again on Sunday (18.10.15) on Channel 4 and is available to watch on demand here. Don’t miss it!
