Transforming Guernsey’s most loved cocktail bar

October 31, 2016 /

A few weeks ago we took on David Matheson’s challenge to transform Red Cocktail Bar in less than a week. Our co-conspirators (Select Building Services, Electrical Contracting Services, Bonsai, Greg Forino Flooring, Joy’s Production Services, Swan Joinery, Sam Ward’s team of decorators and Clermont West and John Casey who provided the drapes and seat coverings respectively) worked with us to achieve the fantastic result.

David had the vision behind the bar’s new luxurious feel: the installation of iconic back cabinets, lighting and luxurious velvet seating and drapes. We were charged with providing the design detail for the bespoke cabinets and seating and to work with the contractors to realise the refurbishment in double quick time.

So if you’ve ever wondered how much work goes into transforming a space in only six days take a look at this great time-lapse, which of course shows that everything went like clockwork in what was a really successful collaboration.
