Stuart Pearce, our Director and conservation surveyor has been involved in the project to restore the Little Chapel, one of Guernsey’s famous landmarks. We enjoyed working alongside CA Duquemin and DLA on the first phase of repairs which involved stabilising the tower and spire. Following on from this we repaired the main roof and this work will continue from inside the building. There is still a long way to go to put the building back in to a good condition, with the floor to repair and lighting to be completed, so please continue your support to help save one of Guernsey’s most wonderful landmarks.

We think you’ll agree it looks remarkable! Check out our time-lapse video of the scaffolding being taken down after 18 months of hard work and dedication from the Foundation and all those supporting the project:

The scaffolding around the Little Chapel is now down! We have been working on the site for 18 months overseeing the stabilisation and restoration of its original design. It looks fantastic so please make sure to go take a look in person and drop a donation in the pot!
