Holy Trinity Community Centre

Holy Trinity Church, a Protected 18th-century building in the centre of St Peter Port, serves a vibrant congregation and plays an active role in community life. The project replaced a small lean-to with a contemporary three-storey extension that provides flexible spaces for the church’s growing outreach and social activities.

The scheme aims to reflect the materials and shapes of the original church, and yet also relate to the more vertical proportions of the former warehouse buildings located nearby.

The extension includes a cafeteria and kitchen on the ground floor, community and Sunday school rooms on the first floor (linked to the church balcony), and smaller meeting rooms and offices above. The result is a modern, welcoming facility that strengthens the church’s connection with its congregation and the wider community.
