Hermes House is a Listed townhouse in St. Peter Port with expansive views across the islands. The property was extended and generally refurbished, bringing it up to current living standards whilst respecting the building's historic features.

The work included restoring an original fireplace and traditional shutters to ensure their functionality. Existing windows were replaced to improve thermal performance, while respecting the property's historic fabric. The modern cement roof tiles were replaced with more appropriate clay pantiles and the entire chimney stack was rebuilt, to preserve the property for future years.
Our clients wanted a two-storey extension to the rear of the house, incorporating a new kitchen/dining space and roof terraces above. This extension, in combination with the renovated interior and layered garden, provide a beautiful home and comfortable living environment.
