Le Hurel Coach House

The late 19th-century Coach House at Le Hurel was fully refurbished to provide a stylish unit of guest accommodation. It was carefully stripped back, insulated, and reroofed, with arched windows introduced to enhance its character.

Internal highlights include a bespoke cantilevered steel staircase with a floating glass balustrade, an open fireplace, and a walk-on rooflight that brings daylight into the ground floor. Japanese-style sliding screens provide flexible separation between the kitchen and living room.

With underfloor heating and exposed joists throughout, the coach house is now a calm, tranquil space with minimal decoration and a simple material palette, that blends comfort with style, and tradition with modern living.
